Knitwear

The challenge and limitless possibilities of knitwear drew DOBRZANSKA attention in her creative pursuits. The idea of creating comfortable yet sophisticated knitwear was conceived while attending the opera in New York and further developed in Florence, where the lead designer strolled through the city’s narrow streets, discovering glass and jewellery shops along the way. Inspired by these encounters, she created a unique pattern using three strands of yarn.
DOBRZANSKA knitwear is designed for versatile elegance and will effortlessly accompany you through life’s most memorable moments.

Production

Each garment is conceived and produced within the European Union, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship at every stage. The yarns are carefully sourced and selected for their quality and origin.

Composition

The outer layer of this knitwear is crafted from two types of viscose, one enhanced with Lurex for a subtle shimmer. Both fibres are FSC®-certified filament yarns made from responsibly sourced wood pulp, primarily from Sweden. The inner layer contains 100% Daytona polypropylene, certified by OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. It is a highly eclectic and stretch yarn: high-performance, ultra-lightweight, and antibacterial, representing one of the finest innovations in polypropylene.

Responsibility

The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) is the world’s most trusted solution for sustainable forest management. FSC® certification ensures that forests are managed with respect for biodiversity, ecosystems, and the communities that depend on them. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is a certification for textiles tested for harmful substances. Every item bearing the STANDARD 100 label has been certified as having passed safety tests for the presence of harmful substances.
